A company within the Defense Industrial Base sector, with over 1500 employees, grappled with specific business challenges. These included identifying crucial services for operational continuity, the complexity of developing a business continuity plan, and the implementation of a communications strategy to keep stakeholders, the government, and customers informed.

To address these challenges, a series of GRC activities based on ISO 22301 were employed. The result, following the establishment of a plan for testing, refining, and updating the Business Continuity Plan, proved highly beneficial for the company!

The organization can now proactively identify the impacts of operational disruptions and has the capability to reestablish operations after incidents or emergencies.
